Lets startup with a little introduction about the topic!!!!!!!!!
First of all We Are Going To Talk About The Old Consoles and yes mainly Nintendo Consoles.
So lets begin with the introductions-
"A video game console is a device that outputs a video signal or visual image to display a video game. The term "video game console" is used to distinguish a console machine primarily designed for consumers to use for playing video games in contrast to arcade machine or home computer. It includes home video game console, handheld game consoles, micro consoles and dedicated consoles."
The first time console gaming came in sight was in 1951 when Ralph H. Baer conceived the idea of a home video game. Later the same man created many console designs while working with Sanders Associates.
Now with the history been discussed and we know how we got the opportunity to get our hands on something so magnificent (all thanks to Mr. Baer), lets start with the working.
As far as I know and believe and seen and experienced for my self Consoles are the devices with lots of buttons over them and can play games. Well mostly they use cartridges(not the printer one)loaded with game's ROM(we all know what is the Read Only Memory). Now these cartridges comes in two two forms, one the hardware(disks, cassettes) and other the software(Roms- well these are some illegal stuffs).
Now lets see some recognized consoles.
My favorite one is the Nintendo consoles. Well I don't own any consoles in physical form but thanks to the technology I have the emulators(Basically these are software imitating the devices).
Since nintendo is my favorite one so I will talk about it.
The company was created in 1880 by Fusajiro Yamauchi, from then it had been a card company and it was 1970 when it started making games. We all know Mario and Donkey Kong, but it was pokemon which gave the company the real boost. The company earned millions and progressed.
Coming to present day where we have computer games. We are forgetting the consoles, as the computer games present to us more varieties and field. So atleast we should not forget what gave our childhood the adventures.
We will further discuss more about the console gaming next time, so for the time between happy gaming.
